Curriculum Vitae

Youth

I was born in Eindhoven in the southern part of The Netherlands (1974) and lived in this region throughout my youth. In 1993 I finished pre-university education.

University

After high-school I studied Computing Science at Eindhoven University of Technology. During this program I did optional courses in history, archival and library sciences at various universities. In 1998 I did a traineeship at the Netherlands Historical Data Archive (NHDA). In 2000 I did my Master Thesis on Knowledge Management at Corus in IJmuiden.

Freelance consultant

Since 2000 I am working as a freelance consultant for digital access to cultural information. In that job I contributed to projects of various clients. Some of these projects leaded to publications.

And...

I am married to Irene and I am the father of Rinske (2003) and Lieuwe (2005). In my spare-time I like to investigate my family history and I am singing as a tenor in a choir.
